My visit to the EUA (USA for the Gringos)!!!

Hey everybody!  I have been back in Philadelphia for three weeks now.  I leave, this Sunday, Mother's Day, for Rome with my mother to see the Pope.  Mom will be with me for 10 days total, and then I will be spending 8 weeks traveling through Europe, solo.  For your viewing pleasure, I will be keeping up the blog throughout.

So, I've been back for three weeks, what have I been doing?!
Celebrating Bridget's and Mike's 39th Birthdays.  What?

                                                          Wearing psychedelic t-shirts.

                                                      Watching the Phils lose, again.

                                                                Lookin' cool.

For Bridget's birthday, I gave her a trip, a local one, with me.  We went to The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania!!!  Before you start complaining, take a look at the pictures.

The trees do come in a little later up here.

                                                                              Gringa Bonita

View the gringo branco.  What happened to my tan?????????

Lots of great views throughout the park.

                                                           Bridget and her 'emotion'al kayak.

The class I (or 0.5) rapids of Wellsboro, PA.

                                                       Don't worry.  It's still attached.

                                                   Waterfalls.  Not exactly Iguacu, but...

                                                                       ...what the hell.

This was a great trip.  We were able to hike, kayak, bike and we had a great B&B, the Bear Mountain Lodge outside of Wellsboro, PA.  Get the "Bear" room.  It comes with an outdoor hot tub for viewing the stars.  I also recommend the homemade cookies at The Wellsboro Diner.  Incredible.

                                                                Next stop, Rome!!!!!!
